- **Guest Service**:

- Assist guests with seating arrangements and ensure their comfort.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of hospitality and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience.
- **Staff Supervision**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff.
- Delegate tasks and ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies and standards.
- Provide guidance and support to staff to enhance their performance.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate important information and updates.
- **Order Management**:

- Oversee the order-taking process and ensure accuracy in recording guests' orders.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
- Monitor table turnover and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
- **Reservations and Seating**:

- Manage reservations and allocate tables effectively to maximize seating capacity.
- Maintain awareness of reservation schedules and make adjustments as necessary.
- Coordinate with the host/hostess to manage walk-in guests and waitlists.
- **Training and Development**:

- Assist in training new waitstaff on service standards, menu items, and POS systems.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to enhance their skills.
- Lead by example and uphold high standards of professionalism and service excellence.
- **Inventory and Maintenance**:

- Monitor inventory levels of dining supplies and place orders as needed.

- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items and wine selections.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
