Introduction:
The Integration Lead is responsible for leading the end to end process for the design and implementation of system to system interfaces

What will you be doing?
- Oversight for integration support resources
- Accountable for Workday Integration Requirements and implementation of all Workday Data and interfaces components (API, Webservices, Workday Studio, etc.) to/from Workday
- Provide integration expertise, including enterprise integration architecture standards and policies
- Overall accountable for the Enterprise Integration Requirements and implementation of all Middleware interfaces components and interfaces to/from current systems
- Key stakeholder of end-to-end system testing and implementation activities
- Manage all related integration tasks, issues, and risks
- Coordinate with external vendors and other system owners during design, testing and deployment of integrations
- Escalate issues that may impact go-live date or project milestones to the PMO
- Design high-level interface architecture based on business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions which align with the business’ needs
- Act as the owner of all assigned integration deliverables
- Collaborate with other architects and technical leads on design decisions and direction
- Document interface architecture and plans for implementation with customer/vendors
- Provide expert level knowledge of Workday integration framework
- Provide interface and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the interface team’s custom request procedures
- Provide technical assistance to other departments in relation to interface development and installation
- Provide 2/3 level interface support, where required
- Represent the team in programs/projects to provide improved or new functionality
- Work on multiple enhancements/projects and other duties as assigned
- Configure Workday integration tools based on the business’ requirements and best practices
- Understand security and data privacy standards
- Review release notes and work with the integration team as well as the Release Manager to assess impacts and coordinate integration testing
- Perform testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth deployment of Workday integrations
- Stay up to date with Workday updates and new releases to recommend updates to the business where needed
- Support post-production activities, including issue resolution, process optimization, and system enhancements
- Provide guidance and training to the business on Workday’s integration functionality
- Make relevant migration changes
- Log/maintain tickets in the ticket tracking system

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Excellent data modelling and integration skills in implementation tools including, Studio, EIB, Workday Report Writer, iLoad, Cloud Connect, PICOF and BIRT
- Strong knowledge of web services, SOAP, WDSL, REST, WS XML, XSLT or XPATH
- A comprehensive understanding of functional knowledge and OOP concepts
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
- Background in data transformation and analytics
- Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data standards and integration related inquiries
- Issue & risk management, strong decision making abilities
