Description

**Ciklum **is looking for a **Cloud Migration Architect** to join our team full-time in India.

**About the role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with stakeholders to assess and validate migration goals and estimate priorities and timelines
- Monitoring and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the migration
- Managing dependencies and ensuring coordination between different teams involved in the migration
- Optimising the cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security
- Establishing ongoing monitoring and management processes for the migrated workloads in the cloud
- Continuously evaluating and refining the cloud architecture for future needs and potential cloud-native enhancements

**Requirements**:

- Experience managing 2-3 cloud migrations from Datacenters to Azure/AWS
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its migration services and tools
- Experience in implementing DB migration from Oracle to Postgres
- Experience with guiding software development, testing, deployment and project management
- Paradigm & Principles
- Database theory
- Code testing practices
- Understanding of network interactions and protocols, conventions
- Experience with Elastic Engine
- based environment
- Developing meticulous migration strategies for database migration ensuring utmost data integrity and minimizing downtime
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration
- Practical experience with:

- Cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure)
- Microservices and Serverless architecture
- PostgreSQL / OpenSearch / Prometheus
- Version control systems (GIT)
- CI/CD tools
- Business skills:

- Excellent client facing, business consulting and communication skills
- Ability to efficiently communicate verbally and visually
- Ability to explain and proof differences, pros and cons of suggested design decisions
- Ability to influence senior client decision makers
- Develop long lasting relationships with business and technical stakeholders
- Leading and supporting medium to large size solution delivery projects
- Analysis of business, product and technology requirements

Desirable
- Certifications on:

- Architecture framework (SEI, TOGAF, etc.)
- Cloud computing platforms
- Delivery processes (SAFe, Agile, etc)
- Experience with:

- Banking and Fintech domain knowledge highly desirable
- Oracle and Postgres Databases
- Release Management tools & Configuration Management tools
- Infrastructure as a code tools
