Job Description: Account Assistant

Position Overview:
The Account Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting department by assisting with various tasks related to financial record-keeping, reporting, and administrative functions. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record Keeping:

- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting system and ensure proper documentation and coding.
- Invoice Processing:

- Prepare and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies with vendors or clients.
- Reconciliation:

- Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records.
- Reporting:

- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required by management.
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities by compiling and organizing financial data.
- Administrative Support:

- Provide general administrative support to the finance and accounting department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
