**Job Description: -**

Your position at GoChitra will be writing explainer or live-action scripts for our video projects. The role of the scriptwriter is extremely vital to our process. You will be accountable to produce a simple, explanatory video that delivers a compelling message that’s easy to understand and engage. You will take the brief, visualize the requirements and simplify it into a short, fun and easy-to-understand story that will form the base of our video.

**Responsibilities: -**
- Quickly absorbing an idea and writing a script with visual cues that hit the bullseye when it comes to a mixture of conveying points in a hard-hitting manner and also, sounds natural and not forced.
- Understanding the audiences’ wants, needs, and pain points so that the process of idea generation, concept writing, & copywriting is clear, compelling and concise.
- Suggesting accompanying visual cues & effects along with the storyline for the animators to use.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within the scheduled time and work in a team with good communication skills.
- Ensuring accuracy, consistency and authenticity of the content.
- Creative supervision of video production for content and internal cross-team coordination as and when required

**Desired Skills & Experience: -**
- 2-3 years of experience in writing scripts for animated explainer videos.
- Strong background in writing with experience in simplifying/summarizing messages as well as writing dialogue.
- Experience in communicating professionally with clients in all manners and focused on meeting the clients’ objectives and expectations.
- Exposure to creating video scripts for new-age technology enterprises (SAAS, AI, ML) is an asset.

**Educational Qualification: -**
- Graduate or Post Graduate professional degree in writing, script writing, journalism or related field.
