Post: Assistant - Import Logistics/Warehousing

Reports to: Manager -Supply Chain (Imports)

Minimum 5 Years in Import Logistics-Warehousing

job will involve travel to our warehouse in Bhiwandi 2-3 times a month.

Required Skill Set:
We are looking for someone energetic and proactive with great attention to detail to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our daily operations - someone who is Customer and process-focused and always looking to help.

Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities.

Identify and resolve any transportation-related issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner

Co-ordination with Branches for day to day activities and drive efficiencies

Experience working within a supply chain function (logistics, warehousing or freight forwarding).

Excellent communicator possessing good written and oral skills in English

Key Role
- Total Execution of import operations of the organization and related logístical arrangements including multiple warehouse and Transport management.
- MS-Office, MS EXCEL, Microsoft Outlook
- Good communication skill in written & verbal.

**Responsibilities**:
1) Coordination with clearance team, logistics team and warehouse team.

2) Arrange transportation/logistics

3) Managing multiple warehouses

4) Plan and implement all import transportation strategies

5) Freight Negotiations

6) To ensure seamless clearance and transportation of cargo from start to end.

7) To manage and support activities necessary for running the day-to-day Logistics operations.

8) Arrangement and Negotiation with transporters

9) Warehouse management, Material management

Education & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification
- Any Graduate
- A course in Supply Chain/ Logistics management with a recognized institution will be seen as an added advantage.
