**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a WAS Administrator, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

** Role and Responsibilities**:

- Installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching and monitoring of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (WAS ND) environments.
- Maximizing availability and performance for all WASND and IBM HTTP Server
- Experience on WebSphere Application Server Clustering (Horizontal & Vertical) for High Availability
- Configuration and troubleshooting of data sources, JMS etc.
- Configuring web server plugin and troubleshoot plugin/load balance related issues.
- Analysing about heap dump, thread dump, high CPU utilization.
- Understanding of J2EE standards, JDBC configuration, JNDI Directory Services, SOAP and WebServices.
- Understanding knowledge of SIBus and connectivity to MQ
- Validating backup techniques to ensure ease of system recoverability

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with IBM Websphere Application Server,
- Demonstrable experience in Support, designing, troubleshooting of above technology
- Ability to articulate best practices during implementation
- Demonstrated experience in handling day-to-day Operation, Alert, Incident support, Migration and break-fix support
- Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- This role will require you to be hands on technical.
- This role will require you work both as individual contributor or in a team of experienced Application Server Administrators and support 24X7X365 operations, as the requirement may be.
- As this is a client facing role, there will be interaction with the clients.
