- Placement and Packaging
- Maintain weekly tracker for placement changes for channels; Highlight new changes vis-à-vis existing changes.
- Assist in maintaining Channel's reach by continuous monitoring of placement of High/Medium/ Low impact networks.
- Collect and formulate a database on the availability of packs at ground capturing data on packages removed, new packs added, most penetrated packs.
- Ensure database is maintained on available packs at ground, packs removed, new packs added, most penetrated packs.
- Maintain weekly tracker on SPN and competition movement in the packs and changes at Ground level.
- Channel Query resolution
- Maintain channels placement report along with competition placement on a weekly basis.
- Inform about changes in the channel or its competition placement to respective channel research teams.
- Maintain impact of LCN changes and highlight the same for further marketing initiatives.
- Highlight potential of Bouquet upgrade basis pack composition for each operator
- Ground Team Management
- Responsible for on-boarding of FEs and solving their requirements daily.
- Prepare weekly and monthly targets for FEs. Plan routes of FEs to ensure that they cover maximum households and operators in the minimum time.
- Train FEs to cover multiple HH in the location and capturing all information regarding packages, watermark, piracy as well as content preferences as and when necessary.
- Analyse pack reports submitted by FEs and estimate availability of channels as part of bouquet, or al a carte opted by Subscriber HHs/DPOs
- Ensure FEs are capturing all available DPOs packs at the ground and submit it in their mapping reports.
- Coordinate with SOs to cover disputed monitoring location/network.
- Routine check with SOs while working on "Need based projects of the channels”.
- Market Intelligence
- Maintain reports on Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) marketwise, operator wise and channel wise.
- Track status of operator (New Op Details, Operator Shut down, Acquired Network, Merged Network etc)
- Ensure Market Segmentation, Penetration of Networks, Subscriber base movement, Subscriber base Management.
- Landing Page
- Provide inputs on LCNs of channels to help evaluation of impact of landing page.
- Maintain MSOs and Key Accounts - landing details, circulate weekly reports.
- Provide monthly report on landing page to channel teams on existing landing page deals.
- Highlight changes to landing page to sales team and channel teams to avoid ratings leak.
- Ensure smooth functioning of landing page deals.
- Track competition landing page deals and monitor their expiry dates thus highlighting new landing page opportunities.
- Long term strategic initiatives
- Provide inputs on new channels launched, their availability across markets and LCNs across key operators.
- Provide inputs on key operators and genre LCNs during launch of new channels.
- Provide daily monitoring support to channels during launch of shows/ key events.
- System development and improvement
- Assist in building the monitoring module in the system.
- Prepare the business requirements and test cases to ensure that all developments are completely secure before moving to production.
- Help build the Monitoring report correction module thus ensuring changes to operator LCNs if agency reports are sometime erroneous.
- Highlight system malfunction/ module error to make the system robust and error-free.
- Continuous evaluation of the system and process to improve its effectiveness and find ways to improve as well as automate the same.
