**Job Description: Bookkeeper/Accountant at Optamark**

**Optamark**, a leading printing and promotional products company, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to enhance our financial team. This vital role is responsible for upholding our financial accuracy and integrity.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Financial Record Keeping**: Ensure meticulous maintenance of financial records in QuickBooks, with prompt transaction entries.

**2. Balance Sheet Management**: Regularly update and manage the balance sheet, ensuring precise financial representation.

**3. Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements**:Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements, offering insights into our fiscal performance.

**4. Accounts Payable and Receivable**:Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely invoice processing and payment collection.

**5. Bill Payment**:Manage timely bill payments and vendor statement reconciliations.

**6. Account Reconciliation**:Conduct regular account reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.

**7. Financial Reporting**:Produce accurate, timely financial reports for management.

**8. Budgeting Support**:Aid in budget preparation and financial forecasting as needed.

**9. Tax Preparation Assistance**:Provide necessary financial data for tax preparation and compliance.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reportage.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Work Hours**:

- Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM ET (flexibility may be required).
