Ensuresthat all company minimum brand standards have been implemented.
Workclosely with other tandoori chefs in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing onthe overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
sets up the Indian Tandoor section of the Kitchen as efficiently as possible to increase speed and maximizeproductivity.
Ensures that all Kebab Breads from Tandoor section are preparedconsistently and according to standard recipes.
Check food and operating costs and controls theseby proper use of Tandoor charcoal.
Attained trainings and get skills necessary for to perform your job efficiently.
Works in any other sections of kitchen when necessary or asrequested by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
Ensuresthe sanitation standards for kitchen are being met.
Be familiar with all sections of the kitchen tofacilitate the flexible use of employees.
Ensuresthat operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good standard withminimum breakage.
Prepared Kebabs, Breads and chutney fresh, with proper seasoning.
Follow SOP and recipes carefully.
Stores foods in designated areas. keep that area neat and clean
Cleans work areas, tandoor, skewers andutensils after use.
Organizes and sets up the assigned Tandoor section of the Kitchen as efficiently as possible to pick up food on time and maximizeproductivity.
Assists the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in ensuringthat all cooking standards in Tandoor section comply with company and HotelPolicies and Procedures and Minimum Standards.
Trains guide the new Commis or JTs in Tandoor section ofkitchen in the skills necessary for them to perform their function.
**Other Duties**
Ensures high standards of personalpresentation and grooming.(short hair, Daily Bath, Shoe polish, and clean uniform)
Accept the changes in the Kebabs, Breads and as dictated by the industry, company ,hotel, and chef.
Reads the hotels Employee letter andhas an understanding of and adheres to the hotels rules and regulations and inparticular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health andsafety.
Attends training sessions and meetingsas and when required.
Carries out any other reasonable dutiesand responsibilities as assigned.
