**Responsibilities**:

- ** Backend Testing**:

- Conduct thorough testing of backend systems and APIs to ensure they function correctly and efficiently.
- Automate API test cases using Python and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Perform API automation testing, focusing on data integrity, performance, and security.
- Work closely with developers to identify, replicate, and document issues found during testing.
- Participate in technical design sessions to provide insights on backend testing requirements.
- ** Software and Mobile App Testing**:

- Improve the quality of Infilect Technologies’ web and mobile apps within a cross-functional team.
- Conduct exploratory, regression, and compliance testing to ensure overall platform quality.
- Document test flows, develop test cases, and script test processes for automation.
- Test planogram logic and compliance using various data sets and ensure proper recommendations from backend systems.
- ** Test Automation**:

- Conduct peer code reviews of automated tests to ensure high standards.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies to enhance the testing process.

**Requirements**:

- Passion for software testing with a strong focus on backend and API testing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficient in Python for API testing; strong understanding of how Django works.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and exploring.
- Strong skills in testing backend systems, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Experience with Jira or other bug tracking tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Development experience with Selenium for automating browser-based apps.
- Optional: Experience with Appium for automating native apps on iOS & Android.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Strong opinions on software testing and quality concepts.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Comfortable discussing product requirements with product owners and testing approaches with developers.
