Your Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop IT automation solutions using IBM Apptio and IBM Turbonomic.
- Lead the creation and implementation of proof of concept (PoC) projects to demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of IT automation solutions.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of assets (tools, templates, best practices) to support IT automation initiatives.
- Provide expert technical consulting to Global System Integrators (GSIs) and partners, enabling them to effectively use IT automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT automation solutions into broader systems and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in IT automation and IBM technologies.
- Conduct enablement sessions and workshops for GSIs, partners, and internal teams.
- Lead and mentor junior team members in IT automation technologies and practices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in a technology architect role, with a focus on IT automation.
- Expertise in IBM Apptio and IBM Turbonomic is essential.
- Strong understanding of IT automation principles and best practices.
- Experience in developing and managing PoCs and IT automation assets.
- Proven track record in providing technical consulting and enablement to partners and clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects.
- Professional certifications in IBM technologies or IT automation are a plus.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8-12 years in any of the IT Automation software products
- Strong understanding of IT automation principles and best practices.
- Proven track record in providing technical consulting and enablement to partners and clients.
- Exposure to docker, containers and kubernates and platform like Openshift
- Exposure to at least one public cloud services like AWS, Azure
