Sales and Marketing Assistant

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Sales & Marketing Associate will work alongside the business development team to deliver a variety of sales & marketing tasks with the purpose of improving brand awareness and meeting sales goals. You will be driven and detail oriented, with a strong ability to research & understand competitor’s products and service models to develop strategies to enhance our company success and opportunities, coordinate and implement sales & marketing projects, collect and report on customer experience/feedback and manage all sales transaction documents. The role requires collaboration with Business Development, Project Management, R&D, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- Foster and manage crucial relationships with customers and Key Opinion Leader’s while executing marketing strategies to expand market presence.
- Collaborate with various internal departments and external third parties to pinpoint marketing opportunities.
- Understand and document industry trends, and market competition.
- Effectively convey through marketing channels the unique value proposition of the company's technology for customers.
- Learn our products and services, identify our customers’ needs, and share our value propositions leading to new sales opportunities.
- Build relationships and gain new customers through customized business marketing and sales campaigns.
- Increase sales and search for new creative ways to attract potential customers.
- Develop new business and marketing opportunities by leveraging existing relationships, participating in networking marketing events, qualifying sales leads, and directly reaching out to potential clients.
- Assist in creating and executing a strategic sales and marketing plan to identify and prioritize key customers and opportunities.
- Exceed marketing and sales goals by creating campaigns/programs to continually move new business through the sales cycle.
- Identify, qualify, and close prospective target accounts and provide excellent service to new and existing customers.
- Consult with management to develop a thorough understanding of current product’s needs, challenges, and trends to offer solutions that are tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Provide expert product knowledge presentations that showcase products and services to potential customers.
- Assist the sales team to develop strategies for customers and opportunities.
- Creates a customer database and maintains it with new and existing customers.
- Responsible for website and social media platforms.
- Performs market research to baseline competition and understand current market trends.
- Ensures customer satisfaction for products delivered.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes Tradeshow events and customer visits.
- Attends trade shows and visits customers when needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- Self-directed, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Demonstrated success in maintaining and expanding business accounts and customer relationships.
- Able to create a customer database to track new and existing customers.
- Demonstrated success in a customer-facing role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales/marketing goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with management, staff, and clients.
- Proficiency in strategic business planning, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills, which include written, oral, interpersonal, customer service, and sales.
- Proficient computer, software, and data analysis skills including Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Office, or equivalent programs.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Marketing role within the medical device industry, powered products and contract design and manufacturing preferred.
**INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS**:
Position requires regular contact both inside and outside the company in order to carry out
responsibilities for company business and policies. Position also requires abilities of persuasion,
negotiation and communication skills to deal with persons of substantially higher rank
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
Must possess ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language. Ability to read,
analyze, create, and interpret documents. Ability to speak and present effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
