1. **Operate CCTV **:Must have a thorough understanding of the equipment they re working with. Viewing and monitoring all cameras throughout the working hours, ensuring all cameras are in working condition and recorded to NVR, deleting or archiving old footage as needed, organizing old footage in an orderly fashion, and switching out compact discs, memory cards, hard drives or servers.

2. **Store Footage**:Since any amount of footage from any given day could be required at any given time, properly storing footage is most important. CCTV Operators will need to correctly catalog all footage so that it can be easily recalled at a later time.

3. **Watch Surveillance**:Must watch the video surveillance footage and ensure it s being recorded.

4. **Make Observations**: Must be unwaveringly focused and observant so that whenever witness something unusual, suspicious or questionable then able to make a detailed note of it.

5. **Report Incidents**:If a CCTV Operator sees something illegal on one of their monitors, it is up to them to contact the appropriate authorities at the appropriate time.

**Salary**: ₹16,917.20 - ₹27,540.82 per month
