Job Summary

KMMS, Mathura is seeking an experienced and passionate TGT Music Teacher to join our faculty. The TGT Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching music to middle school students, fostering their appreciation for music, and helping them develop fundamental skills in singing, instrument playing, and music theory. This role also involves organizing music-related activities, performances, and events that enrich the school’s cultural life.

Key Responsibilities
- **Instruction**: Plan and deliver engaging music lessons in vocal and instrumental music, incorporating music theory, history, and performance skills.
- **Skill Development**: Teach students fundamental music techniques and encourage participation in group and solo performances, developing their confidence and musical abilities.
- **Curriculum Planning**: Develop and implement a structured music curriculum that aligns with educational standards, adapting lessons to different learning levels and styles.
- **Performance Preparation**: Organize and direct music performances, recitals, and other school events, guiding students through rehearsals and preparing them for public performance.
- **Instrument Management**: Manage and maintain musical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and accessible for student use.
- **Student Assessment**: Assess and document student progress in music skills and knowledge, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth.
- **Extra-curricular Involvement**: Facilitate or assist with music clubs, ensembles, or other music-related extra-curricular activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching certification, if required by the state or school.
- Proficiency in vocal and/or instrumental music, with experience in teaching music to students in Grades 6-8.
- Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and performance techniques.
- Effective classroom management skills with the ability to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
