**Job Title: Accounts Assistant**
**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Bookkeeping**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions in the general ledger.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- **Invoicing and Billing**:
- Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
- **Expense Management**:
- Process employee expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Track and categorize expenses, maintaining organized records for audit purposes.
- **Financial Reporting**:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Generate financial analyses and reports as needed for management.
- **Data Entry and Accuracy**:
- Ensure accurate data entry in financial systems.
- Review and verify financial information for discrepancies and resolve issues.
- **Support Audits**:
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- **Administrative Tasks**:
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial plans.
- **Compliance**:
- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with **Tally software.**:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience with popular accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
