**Job Title: Accounts Assistant**

**Overview**:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our company. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, maintain financial records, and provide administrative support as needed. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to gain valuable experience in the field of accounting.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Accounts Receivable: Assist in processing and recording incoming payments, invoices, and receipts. Follow up on outstanding invoices and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

2. Accounts Payable: Support the processing of vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, obtaining approvals, and preparing payments. Assist in reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.

3. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

4. General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by accurately recording transactions and ensuring proper coding. Help prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.

5. Expense Management: Assist in reviewing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation. Help process expense reimbursements in a timely manner.

6. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

7. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including filing documents, organizing records, and responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
