**Qualification**: Graduation
**Experience**: 2-3Yr
**Location**: Chembur
- **Menu Planning and Development**: Indian chefs are responsible for creating menus that reflect the culinary traditions of India while also catering to the preferences of the target audience. This involves researching and selecting authentic recipes, as well as innovating to create unique dishes.
- **Food Preparation and Cooking**: Indian chefs oversee the preparation and cooking of all Indian dishes in the kitchen. This includes tasks such as marinating meats, preparing spices, cooking curries, and baking bread like naan and roti. They ensure that all dishes meet quality and taste standards.
- **Ingredient Sourcing and Inventory Management**: It's crucial for Indian chefs to source high-quality ingredients, including spices, grains, vegetables, and meats. They manage inventory levels, monitor ingredient freshness, and ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked at all times.
- **Kitchen Supervision**: Indian chefs lead kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and apprentices. They delegate tasks, oversee food preparation, and ensure that all staff adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. They also manage kitchen operations to maintain efficiency during peak hours.
- **Quality Control**: Indian chefs are responsible for maintaining the quality and consistency of dishes. This involves tasting and adjusting seasonings, monitoring cooking times and temperatures, and inspecting final presentations to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards.
