Responsibilities 职责:
As an Indirect Tax Lead, you will be responsible for managing complex indirect tax responsibilities across functional areas and business channels and activities. Your responsibilities include SAP and tax systems management, tax reporting, analysis, tax research, audits, planning, and cross-functional business and systems involvement for GST and sales tax. This role will manage the India indirect tax matters to ensure compliance with tax laws and to minimize overall tax liabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify key risk areas of financial system/process and manage new SAP project implementations/localization in India by collaborating with different cross function teams.
- Lead the junior tax analyst to manage overall indirect tax compliance and reporting requirements. Prepare/review monthly GST returns, process payments, and work with external service providers to ensure timely filing of annual GST return for each state.
- Manage tax audits and tax refund/credit reviews. Deal with any tax assessments as well as daily inquires and solve tax disputes with the minimized tax liabilities among different states in India.
- Assist with the analysis of audit methods and sampling techniques, prepare documentations required, assist with evaluating possible or proposed adjustments, and identify and recommend actions to resolve issues.
- Monitor changes in laws and stays technically current to support tax requirements for areas of responsibility. Perform tax law research and clearly communicate verbally and in writing recommended business impacts or changes to local tax policies or practices.
- Provide constructive tax advice to business teams to mitigate tax risks and facilitate business decision making.
- Perform month-end close duties for tax related general ledger accounts including reconciling the general ledger to supporting documentation and performing any necessary journal entries.
- Organize and provide internal tax trainings to different business departments in accordance with the company’s requirements
