**Job Title: Loan Officer**

**Company: HDFC Bank**

**Location: Mahape Mumbai**

**Responsibilities**:

- Interview loan applicants to gather financial information, assess repayment capacity, and understand their financing needs.
- Analyze credit reports, income documents, and other financial statements to assess the applicant's financial situation.
- Recommend appropriate loan products and terms based on the applicant's financial profile and creditworthiness.
- Liaise with underwriters and other internal teams to expedite the loan approval process and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Educate customers about loan products, terms, and repayment options, and address their queries and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the loan origination process.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in banking, lending, or financial services, with a focus on consumer loans.
- Strong understanding of lending principles, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to consumer lending.
