Comprehensive Leprosy Care Service Centre will be jointly operated by Rotary Club of Delhi South & LEPRA Society in the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Department (PMR), Indira Gandhi Hospital.

**Rotary Club of Delhi South **is one of the premier Rotary Clubs in North India and is a part of Rotary International, an international service organization. Delhi South Rotary Service Foundation (DSRSF) was established by the members of Rotary Club of Delhi South

in 1978 to create a Registered Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, to serve the community in the fields of literacy, education, skill development, women Empowerment, health, environment, child, youth and elderly welfare and to enable the underprivileged lead a better life.

**Indira Gandhi Hospital** is an ambitious project of the Delhi Government with 1241 beds and the use of state-of-the-art technology in its construction and operations. It is an eco-friendly and green building as per national standards. IGH is a tertiary care Hospital and it’s all bed are MGPS (Oxygen) supported. It has been envisaged as a Super Speciality Hospital and an upcoming Medical College to provide Quality Care, Education, Training and Research.

**What you would do**

S/he shall
- Confirm difficult to diagnose cases by clinical examination and counsel for regular treatment with MDT.
- Refer all confirmed new cases to the PHCs with a referral note for MDT.
- Provide health education and counselling services to the affected persons on self-care practices.
- Liaise with health and district nucleus staff for smooth coordination.
- Be aware of various welfare schemes and facilities provided by Government and other NGO’s.
- Establish linkages and networking with Govt./NGOs/CBOs/Private Health Care providers and existing other community groups which provide various services & benefits to disadvantaged population.
- Participate in district review meetings.
- Document human interest stories in terms of Health, social and economic aspects
- Ensure periodical servicing and maintenance of equipment and tools at the center.
- Prepare and submit periodical reports to reporting manager

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Should be a Graduate in Social Work/Social Sciences from a reputed recognized university/institutes. At least 6 Months to one year of experience in Leprosy, community based health or development project’s
- Good communication and counselling skills.
- Proficiency in English and local language.

***Remuneration : Rs.30,000 per month**

Employee will be entitled to contribute to Employee’s Provident Fund Scheme, Group Gratuity Scheme under LIC and covered under Mediclaim and Personal Accident Insurance.
