LEPRA Society is an organisation working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India.

Comprehensive Leprosy Care Service Centre will be jointly operated by Rotary Club of Delhi South & LEPRA Society in the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Department (PMR), Indira Gandhi Hospital.

**Rotary Club of Delhi South **is one of the premier Rotary Clubs in North India and is a part of Rotary International, an international service organization. Delhi South Rotary Service Foundation (DSRSF) was established by the members of Rotary Club of Delhi South

in 1978 to create a Registered Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, to serve the community in the fields of literacy, education, skill development, women Empowerment, health, environment, child, youth and elderly welfare and to enable the underprivileged lead a better life.

**Indira Gandhi Hospital** is an ambitious project of the Delhi Government with 1241 beds and the use of state-of-the-art technology in its construction and operations. It is an eco-friendly and green building as per national standards. IGH is a tertiary care Hospital and it’s all bed are MGPS (Oxygen) supported. It has been envisaged as a Super Speciality Hospital and an upcoming Medical College to provide Quality Care, Education, Training and Research.

**Location: IGH, Dwarka Sec-9, New Delhi.**

She/he shall:

- Designing and making footwear:

- Assess the feet of the patient with anesthesia, Ulcers, and foot drop.
- Design and make the required number of footwears according to the patient need and to their satisfaction in consultation with the Medical Consultant / Physio technician.
- Ensure the use of quality raw material and avoid / reduce wastage.
- Alteration and repair of footwear
- Ensure to collect the feedback forms from the patients on suitability and comfort of footwear provided.
- Ensure proper alteration or repair is made to the footwear as per the requirement of patient so that the patient will have comfort in wearing the footwear.

**Logistics**:
Indent required raw material and maintained stock register, issue register.

Arrange finished products according to sizes and ensure its proper storage.

Maintenance and safeguard of assests:
Ensure periodical servicing, insurance renewals and maintenance of shoe making equipment/machines/tools.

Prepare a maintenance check chart for all the machines to avoid break down.

***Eligibility Criteria**

**Qualification and Experience**
- Ability to read/write
- 6 Months to 1 year relevant experience
- Proficiency to prepare foot-wear as per the requirement of patients

***Remuneration : Rs.20,000 per month**

Employee will be entitled to contribute to Employee’s Provident Fund Scheme, Group Gratuity Scheme under LIC and covered under Mediclaim and Personal Accident Insurance.
