- On a typical day you will:

- Strategically manage Service Center Warehouse in compliance with Company’s policies, Internal controls, Business ethics and Safety.
- Ensure an efficient warehouse operation & Logistics management which can fulfill operational and customer demand.
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, logistics and dispatch of goods.
- Drive a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer deliverables are met fully.
- Understand customer needs and ensure alignment with the needs and commitments of the business.
- Plan future capacity requirements, forecast and safety stock analysis of materials on a regular basis.
- Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with automated system utilizing help of the warehouse team.
- Identify any systems improvements and drive through recommendations for change.
- Ensure efficient and effective use of Warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements.
- Review ways to reduce waste and follow 5S and Kaizen for problem solving methods.
- Develop and maintain metrics / KPIs, reports, process documentation, customer service logs and training and safety records.
- Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems.
- Review ways to improve efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement best practice warehousing principles, policies and processes.
- Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and that risk assessments are carried out.
- Ensure, monitor and maintain high standards of security in the warehouse by setting security procedures.
- Ensure that machinery and material handling equipment’s’ are well maintained and fit for purpose.
- Contract engineering support to field teams for legacy portfolio.- Key Skills- Spare part, Express cargo, Logistics & Inventory management.
- Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
- Highly developed inter-personal and communication skills along with ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business.
- Ability to build, lead and motivate the team and able to meet objectives and agreed targets.
- Good IT Skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and knowledge of warehouse systems
- Analytical and numerical skills along with strong decision-making skills.
- EXPERIENCE
- 12 to 15 years of experience in any spare parts management industries with minimum 5 years managing a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- knowledge about elevator spare parts or Automobile spare parts
- Working knowledge of current software packages
