The Academic Administrator is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight of academic programs and services at the institution. The position involves managing faculty and staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accrediting agencies and other regulatory bodies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the development and implementation of academic programs, including curriculum development, course scheduling, and student advising.
- Supervise faculty and staff, including recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and professional development.
- Develope and implement policies and procedures related to academic programs and services, including academic standards, student services, and faculty workload.
- Manage the budget for academic programs, including monitoring expenditures, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with institutional and external regulations.
- Work with accrediting agencies and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with other administrators, faculty, and staff to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to advance the academic mission of the institution.
- Foster a culture of academic excellence and innovation, promoting teaching and research that advances the institution's mission and goals.
- Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations, to promote partnerships and collaborations that advance the institution's academic mission.
- Engage in professional development activities to remain current in trends and best practices in academic administration.
**Qualifications**:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, higher education administration, business administration).
- At least 5 years of experience in academic administration, including experience managing academic programs and budgets.
- Knowledge of best practices in academic administration, including accreditation standards, academic program development, and student services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively.
- Experience with budget management, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to higher education.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹240,000.00 - ₹264,000.00 per year
