Academic Couselor

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Student Guidance**:

- Provide personalized academic counselling to students to help them make informed decisions about their education.
- Assist students in setting academic goals and creating plans to achieve them.
- Address academic concerns and provide solutions to enhance student performance.

2. **Career Counselling**:

- Conduct career assessments and help students explore potential career paths.
- Provide information about various academic and professional opportunities.
- Assist students in making informed decisions about their future careers.

3. **Educational Planning**:

- Collaborate with students to develop personalized academic plans.
- Provide information about course requirements, curriculum options, and academic policies.
- Help students navigate the course selection process based on their interests and career goals.

4. **Support Services**:

- Identify students in need of additional support and connect them with relevant resources.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to address academic and personal challenges.
- Monitor students' progress and intervene when necessary to ensure academic success.

5. **Parental Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress.
- Address parental concerns and collaborate to create a supportive educational environment.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Plus Two/12th grade).
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Empathy**: Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges students face.
- **Organizational Skills**: Effective organization and time management skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor's Degree**: In education, counselling, psychology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2+ experience in academic counselling or related roles.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications in counselling or education.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
