Public Relations Executive

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute PR campaigns to promote the company's products, services, and initiatives.
- Plan and manage press releases, media events, and press conferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, industry influencers, and key media outlets.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, and prepare reports on the company's PR performance.
- Draft and edit press releases, speeches, articles, and other communication materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Manage crisis communications, including drafting statements, coordinating media responses, and managing public perception during challenging times.
- Proactively seek opportunities for positive media coverage and secure media placements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR and communication strategies.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company in media interviews and public appearances.
- Coordinate and oversee PR events, including conferences, trade shows, and sponsorships.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and maintain a database of media contacts.
- Develop and implement social media campaigns to amplify PR efforts and engage with target audiences.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align PR efforts with overall business objectives.
- Stay informed about current affairs, social issues, and global events that could impact the company's image or industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Public Relations Specialist or similar role, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communications, and public speaking.
- Solid network of media contacts and ability to establish new relationships.
- Proficient in using PR software and tools to monitor media coverage and analyze data.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan effectively, and execute with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and experience in leveraging them for PR purposes.
- Proactive and creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
- High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality when required.
