**Supply Area South Asia (SASA)** is one of the supply areas for IKEA comprising of South Asia Region comprising of India, Sri Lanka, Dubai and Bangladesh. We produce and supply IKEA products with affordability, accessibility, sustainability, and quality from the region for the global value chain. We work throughout the whole value chain - from supplier to customer. SASA has a rich history of sourcing from the South Asia region for more than four decades.

The **Market Representative **shall support **IKEA components. **IKEA Components holds a unique position within the IKEA value chain. IKEA Components develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products - and better homes. This includes a responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. Another part of our business is retail equipment range, which is an important part of IKEA identity. It supports presenting, selling and handling of the IKEA product range, strengthens the IKEA Brand and helps visitors enjoy the full IKEA experience. **Job description** Purpose of the job**:
To secure IKEA Components Market activities on an operational level with concerned Home Furnishing Suppliers (HFS) and IKEA Purchasing, securing a service minded and professional approach to IKEA Components business partners.

**About the Role**:
As a Market Representative, you will
- Be responsible for HFS on an overall level for their components requirements
- Be responsible for maintained level HFS - orders, deviations, outgoing goods (UTG), scrap, price lists and securing all system updates
- Collect information and share with relevant internal stakeholders, in order to maintain the business (Demand Planner, Need Planner, Supply planners, Packaging planners, Transport and Warehouse)
- Be responsible to prepare and secure General Sales Agreement
- Lead the offer process based on the collected Demand Needs & Expectations (DNE) from maintained and potential HFS
- Be responsible for the operational part of item life cycle in the sample-, order
- and price
- process with basics in place from start up to discontinue
- Prepare documents necessary for custom clearance based on templates, according to request from IKEA suppliers

**Qualification** About you**

We are looking for a person who:

- Has strong customer service mindset providing excellent support to our buyer.
- Has good communication and presentation skills, fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience from working with manufacturing / supply chain.
- Economic and Financial knowledge preferred
- Basic knowledge about IKEA and IKEA Components business set-ups is preferred
- Has analytical mindset
- Has passion for organization and good structure, being able to effectively prioritize your tasks on a daily basis.
- Has a ability to solve problems effectively.
- Shows willingness and patience for systems and operational work
- Has the personality of being open and service minded in your communication style
- Is skilled at conflict resolution by effectively communicating your own perspective and managing high-pressure situations.
- Has a passion for collaboration and enjoy working in a team to share ideas.
- Has sense of urgency and simplicity.
