**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supplier Identification and Management**:

- Research and identify potential suppliers, including evaluating their pricing, quality, and reliability.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- **Purchase Order Processing**:

- Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to confirm specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate demand to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to track incoming shipments and manage inventory discrepancies.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, including prices, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Organize and maintain a central repository for all procurement-related documents.
- **Quality Control**:

- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure purchased products meet specified standards and requirements.
- Address any quality issues with suppliers and coordinate returns or replacements as needed.
- **Cost Management**:

- Assist in cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities for price negotiation, bulk purchasing, or alternative suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze purchasing trends to identify areas for cost optimization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with procurement software preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours to coordinate with international suppliers or handle urgent procurement needs.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is desirable but not required.
