We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Analyst**

**What you’ll do**:

- To be an integral team member of the ESG team within Global Research:

- Conducting Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) analysis on HSBC covered companies.
- Ensuring high quality of ESG data with consistency across the region and sector
- Good understanding of global reporting standards related to ESG.
- Collaboration with senior stakeholders for effective implementation of ESG framework
- Remain focused on key development in ESG space to further develop the overall framework.
Requirements

**What will you need to succeed in the role?**
- Master’s degree in business management is preferable but not a must. Being proactive with a positive attitude and high energy are key personal/professional attributes. This role also requires constant communication and collaboration with teammates.

**Skills required.**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience in dealing and managing large data sets.
- Working within a tight deadline’s framework
- Attention to detail.

**What additional skills will be good to have?**
- MBA in Finance from reputed institutes with experience in ESG
- Diligent, organized and should be able to work in a team.
- Proficient at using MS Excel and MS word.
- Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg and/or Reuters will be preferred.
