The Purchase Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of purchasing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure that products and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Manage purchasing budgets and track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure that purchases are made in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Manage a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a demonstrated track record of success
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience managing a team of purchasing professionals
- Proficiency with purchasing software and systems
