**TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR UT coordinator, Kashmir (Part-Time: Work from home) TO**

**SUPPORT WITH Compliance with FSSA 2006 and relevant concerns In Kashmir Valley**

**1. SPECIFIC CONTEXT**

Green Food Consultancy assisting the government &INDUSTRY to meet the requirements under FSSA 2006

AND the regulations thereon, in implementing Food Safety Management System and it’s various tools like

HACCP, National & international Standards/guidelines. To commission production facilities and train staff to operate equipment and produce this energy dense nutrient rich food to standard. To set up facilities for food production/processing with experience in Odisha to undertake a variety of tasks under the remote direction of the Valid International (VI) food technologist and also with technical support from MoFPI the

Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology to ensure that production facilities are in readiness at the time of the visit from the VI food technologist.

Green Food Consultancy (GFC) addresses the unique challenges of its clients in the field of New Product

Development (NPD), Food Processing, Safety & Quality up-gradation, Shelf life improvement and Food

Safety Management Systems (Trainings and Implementation).

It has a panel of consultants who are qualified to undertake following assignments;
- Process and/or Recipe Development & Optimization
- Equipment design and plant layout
- Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC), Food Safety and Standards Association of India (FSSAI)

Part time: 3 hrs daily or 3 days a week, Pay INR 5000

**2. MAJOR TASKS/DELIVERABLES**

The major tasks of the Food Technologist will comprise but not be limited to:

- Serve as the technical moderator
- Represent technical issues or concerns to the State Nodal Officer that is overseeing FoSTaC, and brief the GFC coordinator so that he may so represent them;
- Work with Presidents or their representatives of Business association and Food Business Operators to obtain all necessary information on availability, specifications, and pricing of Services required in order to meet Statutory and regulatory compliance and production groups to equip the facilities;
- Provide technical input to community-level production groups that are refurbishing or otherwise preparing local production facilities, and conduct on-site audit to ensure that renovations and refurbishment are to the referenced standard;
- Provide the state government, the technical committee, and/or local self-help groups, Farm producing organizations with information and details on production methodology and processing food;
- Assist the State Nodal Officer as required to ensure that adequate knowledge, resources and infrastructure are place for implementation, documentation, training on Food Safety Management

System following FSSA 2006, ISO 22000;2018, FSSC Version 5, BRC etc.
- Ensure the specified raw materials and processing equipment is in place for production of energy dense nutrient rich therapeutic food;

- Report to the State Nodal Officer and GFC coordinator on any issues or concerns that may affect

FSSAI license, production quality, safety or nutrition and other FSSAI initiatives ;
- Liaise regularly with contacts already established in Kashmir Valley;
- Liaise regularly with State Nodal Officer that is overseeing FoSTaC and other FSSAI initiatives.

- To do digital marketing, design posters, arrange webinars, FoSTaC trainings, workshops
