We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Indian and Tandoor Cuisine Commis 1 & 2 to join our culinary team. As a Commis I, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality Indian and Tandoor dishes, while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in preparing and cooking Indian Curry and Tandoor dishes, including naan bread, roti, and kebabs
- Learn and execute traditional Tandoor recipes and cooking techniques
- Maintain a clean and organised Tandoor station, adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist in marinating, skewering, and seasoning meats and vegetables for Tandoor cooking
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve kitchen goals
- Participate in menu planning and development
- Develop knowledge of Tandoor cooking techniques, including temperature control and wood-fired oven management
- Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and waste
**Requirements**:
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Tandoor cuisine
- Basic knowledge of Tandoor cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
