**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**BASIC INFORMATION ON THE ROLE**

**SECTION I: About Company**

SunSource Energy is a leading distributed solar energy company, which develops, owns and operates solar power projects for its commercial and industrial customers across the globe. Since its inception in 2010, the company has delivered more than 150 high-quality solar power projects across 24 states in India and 6 countries globally. Highlights include construction of one of the largest solar rooftop projects in Philippines and implementation of one of India's first private solar rooftop

PPAs. With its in-house project finance, EPC, operations and maintenance capabilities, SunSource manages the entire development process of the solar power plant.

**SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Responsible for implementing H&S documents.

2. Preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly H&S reports.

3. Monitoring site activities, participating in daily TBM.

4. Preparing and Implementing HIRA (hazard identification and risk assessment) and MS (method statement).

5. Responsible for conducting H&S training covering the employees and contractors at the project site including: Basic Safety Training, Safety Awareness Training, TBM, hazardous waste and to drive continuous improvements in the safety culture.

6. He should also take care of basic welfare at site like drinking water, hygiene, housekeeping etc.

7. Prepare and ensure the implementation of the EHS internal audit plan, training plan forthe project.

8. Implementation of **SunSource**’ Policies, principles and Values.

9. Conduct regular H&S system review and enable H&S system improvement by supporting the project team.

10. Participate in H&S Legal compliance reviews for the projects as needed.

11. Participate in the project completion review and provide H&S related inputs

12. Be a participant of conference calls as indicated.

13. Ensure Mock drills, Fire drills and Medical camps at site.

14. Support the delivery of the EHS implementation plan at site as per ISO 45001(OHSMS)

15. He should form safety committee, ERT, and other core groups for site management and ensure frequent meeting of these groups.

16. Implement the H&S plan and Emergency Plan and other formats as required by **SunSource** for the project site.

17. He should have good communication skills, observations skills and reporting skills.

18. He should be act as a leader at site and set an example of best H&S practices.

19. He should aware about OSHA guidelines and ISO 45001 management system.

20. Should have ability to perform in challenging and multi task work atmosphere.

**SECTION IV: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

Educational Qualifications - BE/B-Tech/BSc

Certifications - ADIS, PDIS, NEBOSH, ISO 45001

Years of Experience - 1 Year to 5 Years

Other Requirements - Electrical background is more preferable

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
