Land Records Officer

Key responsibilities
- maintenance of accurate and up-to-date land records and revenue, including deeds, GPA, POA, titles, surveys/survey maps, tax documents, and other related documents.
- Implement and enforce data quality standards to ensure the integrity and reliability of land records
- Stay abreast of relevant land laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance in land record management activities.
- Develop and implement procedures to address compliance issues and mitigate legal risks
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to streamline land record management processes, where necessary
- appropriate document controls and record maintaining system.
- read, understand, interpret & research legal descriptions and documents as they relate to the chain of title.
- Process documentation of new and altered land transactions, and update records.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to report / address inquiries related to land records.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to public and private entities regarding land-related information.
- Collaborate with legal, surveying, and planning teams to ensure seamless integration of land records across various locations/functions.
- Engage with government agencies, title companies, and other stakeholders to enhance collaboration and information sharing
- To coordinate with legal consultant and ensure that all compliances & legal requirements are fulfilled.
**Qualifications & Competencies**
Bachelors Degree in any field
(Min 3 to 5 YEARS in LAND RECORD MANAGEMENT)
- Understanding of land laws. Land acquisition process, R&R & documentation.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with land service providers, local authorities & legal consultants.
- Ability to research, analyze, and interpret data.
- Strong understanding of legal documents required to assess the land in close interaction with legal function.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,230.62 per month
