**Job Title: Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator**

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Document Formatting:Format and layout various documents, including brochures, manuals, reports, and other materials, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Typography and Design: Select appropriate fonts, sizes, and colors to enhance the visual appeal of documents. Collaborate with designers to implement design elements and graphics into documents.
- Prepress Preparation: Prepare files for print, ensuring proper resolution, color modes, and trim marks. Work closely with the printing team to address any prepress issues and ensure print-ready files.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize DTP software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools to create and edit documents.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to identify and correct errors in layout, formatting, and design. Ensure that the final output meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver cohesive end products.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- File Management: Organize and maintain digital files and assets for easy retrieval and version control.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a DTP Operator or similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant DTP software.
- Strong understanding of print production processes and prepress requirements.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the publishing, advertising, or graphic design industry is preferred.
