Experience Level: 1-2 years in Research and Development (Ph.D. preferred)
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Laboratory Techniques:
Perform nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) isolation with precision and efficiency.
Conduct Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), including qPCR and RT-PCR.
Carry out electrophoresis (agarose and PAGE) and western blotting for protein analysis.
2. Research & Development:
Contribute to innovative R&D projects, designing experiments, and analyzing results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop novel protocols and methodologies.
Stay updated on the latest molecular biology advancements to incorporate into projects.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting:
Document experimental procedures and results accurately in lab notebooks.
Analyze data using appropriate statistical tools and prepare technical reports.
Present findings to internal teams and external collaborators as required.
4. Compliance & Maintenance:
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and protocols.
Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
Qualifications:
**Education**:
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field (preferred).
Master’s degree with at least 2 years of R&D experience in molecular biology.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in nucleic acid isolation, PCR, electrophoresis, western blotting, and primer design.
Hands-on experience with advanced molecular biology equipment.
Other Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of statistical tools and bioinformatics is a plus.
