A Commi 2 plays a vital role in the kitchen, assisting in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of senior chefs. This position requires a solid understanding of culinary techniques and a willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen environment. Responsibilities may include:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and portioning, as well as the assembly of dishes according to recipes and standards.
- **Cooking**: Execute basic cooking techniques, such as grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking, to prepare components of dishes as directed by senior chefs.
- **Recipe Adherence**: Follow recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the required standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure that all food items meet the established standards of quality and freshness before being served to customers.
- **Kitchen Organization**: Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients, regular cleaning of workstations, and adherence to food safety standards.
- **Teamwork**: Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team, communicating effectively and supporting colleagues during busy periods.
- **Learning and Development**: Take initiative to expand culinary knowledge and skills through training opportunities and hands-on experience in the kitchen.
- **Assistance to Senior Chefs**: Provide support to senior chefs as needed, including ingredient preparation, equipment maintenance, and other tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of the kitchen.

**Requirements**:

- **Culinary Training**: Completion of a culinary arts program or relevant vocational training is preferred, though practical kitchen experience may also be considered.
- **Basic Cooking Skills**: Proficiency in basic cooking techniques, such as knife skills, cooking methods, and food handling practices.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation in all aspects of food preparation.
