Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:

- Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies for logistics services to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Sourcing and Vendor Selection: Identify potential logistics service providers, conduct market research, evaluate vendor capabilities, and negotiate terms and conditions to secure the best value for the organization.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze pricing proposals, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce logistics expenses without compromising service quality.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and finalize contracts with logistics vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and addressing any potential risks or issues.
- Procurement Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve procurement processes related to logistics, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders such as operations, warehouse, and transportation teams to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to logistics procurement, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, or regulatory changes.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics procurement, analyze data to assess supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement, and prepare regular reports for management review.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (X years) in procurement, specifically in the logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on cost optimization and process improvement.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing logistics procurement.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
