We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Procurement Functional Consultant to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Procurement modules and a comprehensive understanding of procurement processes and business practices. This role involves leading the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Procurement solutions to enhance our procurement operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Oracle Procurement Implementation:**
- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Procurement modules, including Purchasing (PO), Sourcing, iProcurement, and Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM).
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions and document business processes and requirements.
- Configure Oracle Procurement modules to meet business needs and industry best practices.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure solution quality and alignment with business requirements.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve any issues that arise during the stabilization phase.
2. **System Configuration and Optimization:**
- Maintain and update Oracle Procurement configuration settings as required.
- Optimize system performance and ensure the integrity and accuracy of procurement data.
- Manage system upgrades and patches, coordinating with IT and other relevant departments.
3. **Business Process Improvement:**
- Analyze current procurement processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Develop and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.
- Implement best practices in procurement processes and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
4. **User Training and Support:**
- Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Provide ongoing support to procurement users and address any questions or issues.
- Act as a liaison between the procurement department and IT team to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
5. **Project Management:**
- Lead projects related to Oracle Procurement implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
6. **Vendor and Stakeholder Management:**
- Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and Oracle support for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Procurement Functional Consultant.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Procurement modules (PO, Sourcing, iProcurement, SLM).
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud Procurement.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Project management experience with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
**Preferred Certifications:**
- Oracle Procurement Cloud 2021 Certified Implementation Specialist
- Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Supply Chain Certified Implementation Specialist
