- As the Line In-charge Final Inspection you will be part of the Quality and will report to the Manufacturing Quality Section Head Final Inspection.- The purpose of your role will be to Ensure implementation of quality assurance/control and inspection systems, for highest quality of HMCL manufactured vehicles.**A purpose driven role for you**
- Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- 1. Inspection of 100% vehicles as per defined SOP and Acceptance Quality Level.- Monitoring Test riders’ wise issues
- Taking Improvement actions
- 2. Defined manpower deployment Line wise- Co-ordination for Man-power availability as per defined Productivity chart.
- 3. Maintaining discipline and consistent output of the Test riders- Test riders Output monitoring.
- Counselling and trainings for improvement
- 4. Timely clearance of the vehicles after Final inspection.- 5. Co-ordination with the Shift wise counter parts Frame assembly/PPC/OBL for smooth vehicles clearance from Final inspection- 6. Maintaining 5s, Safety and TPM culture in Department- Conducting Safety Meetings, Various Audits of the Department
- Carrying out regular maintenance of equipment’s and infrastructure
- 7. Support in carrying out external COP’s- Vehicles arrangements,
- Documents preparation and
- Co-ordination for External COP’s
**A Day in the life**
- On a day to day Basis you will be coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders such as Manufacturing, R&D, PE, NMC etc to work upon Improvement in design, New model testing,Improve Quality of Bought out Parts and much more.**Academic Qualification & Experience**
- Graduation/Diploma in Engineering- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing, and 2-3 years in an automotive firm

- Product, process & systems knowledge- Quality Planning

- Audit competence
