Role: SecOps Intern

- Experience we hope you have:
- < 1 Years- Responsibilities you'll achieve:
- Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.-
- Support the development and delivery of security awareness training programs for employees.-
- Monitor security logs and alerts to identify potential security incidents and report them to the appropriate team membersAssistance with the deployment and upkeep of the workstations’ security and infrastructurePerform compliance audits against institutionally accepted security controls.Actively participate in design meetings with the development team.-
- Other duties as assigned.Skills you'll develop:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.-
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and industry best practices-
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++-
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Mobile Device Management.-
- Strong desire to expand knowledge in modern cloud architectures.-
- Knowledge of System Security Concepts (Pen Test, Vulnerability analysis).-
- Knowledge in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS development environments (e.g., AWS).Knowledge in security systems like Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management System, and other solutions-
- Establish and maintain a program to integrate critical patches (rapid security vulnerability deployment and testing)-
- Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 27001, HITRUST, SOC2.etc-
- Prior experience in information security, risk management, or data privacy is a plus- The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job function.
