Accounts Assistant

The Group's primary hospitality venture is **Golden Wood**, a premium homestay offering on its Harley Estate in **Sakleshpur**. Golden Wood is an oasis, offering **eco-holidays** in the midst of **verdant nature**. A very **popular getaway** from Bangalore and other surrounding cities, Golden Wood offers visitors the **true experience of life on a coffee estate**, including **local cuisine** and **nature trails**.
To further its interest in hospitality, the Group has embarked upon a range of projects - including **joint ventures with leading hotel operators** - to enable high quality holiday destinations.
**Responsibilities and duties**
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
- Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
- Maintain and record fixed assets
- Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary
- Prepare court-mandated annual accounting reports and inventories for client discharges as necessary
- Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies
**Qualifications and skills**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years’ related experience preferred
- Hands-on experience working with general ledgers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Tally ERP 9 systems, including Microsoft Office
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
