**Role Description**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Stay informed about new ideas and advancements in orthodontics.
- Review patients' medical histories and discuss their symptoms and concerns.
- Use dental instruments and x-ray equipment to diagnose issues.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest materials and technologies in orthodontics.
- Conduct thorough assessments of dental and facial structures.
- Diagnose malocclusions and misalignments, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Manage orthodontic appliances, including braces, aligners, and retainers.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment procedures.
- Keep accurate records of diagnoses, treatments, and patient progress.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay current with orthodontic advancements.

**Qualifications**:

- Expertise in Medicine, Dentistry, and Orthodontics.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-MDS experience in orthodontics.
- Proven experience in providing orthodontic treatments and specialized dental care.
- Knowledgeable in orthodontic procedures and treatment options.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to professional development and continuing education.
- Valid license to practice orthodontics in Kolkata.
