**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Settlement Cycle Management**:
- Execute timely settlement of securities transactions in accordance with market regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor and reconcile trade settlements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counter parties to resolve settlement discrepancies and failed trades promptly.
- **Corporate Action Processing**:
- Evaluate and interpret corporate action announcements to determine the impact on client portfolios.
- Coordinate the execution of corporate actions, including dividends, mergers, acquisitions, and stock splits.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of corporate action details to relevant parties, including clients, brokers, and custodians.
- **Pay-In/Payout Responsibility**:
- Manage the process of funds transfer and securities delivery for client transactions.
- Conduct reconciliations to verify the accuracy of pay-ins and payouts.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to pay-in/payout transactions, escalating as necessary for resolution.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and market developments affecting securities operations.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing securities transactions.
- Assist in the implementation of new regulatory requirements and internal controls as needed.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all securities transactions and related activities.
- Generate regular reports on settlement status, corporate actions, and pay-in/payout transactions for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of standardized procedures and documentation to streamline operational processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in securities operations or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of settlement cycles, corporate actions, and pay-in/payout processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
