Associate - Customer/supplier Master Global Support

The Opportunity:

Execute mass data management processes while ensuring data quality. Manage documentation, updates to the Data Dictionary and data management training materials, under the guidance of the Enterprise Data Management & Analytics team. Coordinate and conduct mass data imports into core systems, and mass data-cleansing initiatives, ensuring the integrity and eliminating redundancy from corporate databases.

What we’re looking for

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in science, math, biology, information systems, or engineering field.

Experience: 0 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Results oriented and works with a sense of urgency. Assertive, responsible for his/her own work and has a strong affinity for defining work in deliverables and is willing to commit to deadlines.- Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure.- Knowledge of distribution, project management skills, critical thinking, data analysis.- Intermediate to advanced Excel, Access, SAP, and SQL skills.- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.- Results driven, self-sufficient and highly motivate.- Must be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization.- Must be able to develop excel reports as well as PowerPoint presentations.- Knowledge of Avantor systems and business processes (i.e STIBO and Qlikview) a plus.

How you will thrive and create an impact- Extract, analyze, update data, and implement of process improvements.- Vendor Add Forms - interacts with VWR marketing, Strategic Sourcing, and Portfolio team along with contacts at suppliers to shepherd and complete the Vendor add process. Applies proper coding where needed.- Vendor maintenance - works with other functional teams on the discontinuation and attribute changes of Vendors, including order currency, Payment method, Payment terms, etc. to maintain current and accurate information.- Responsible for understanding end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management.- Works with other departments to stage, test, and validate system enhancements.- Works with large amounts of data and regularly audits, research, analyzes, makes modifications to, and communicates about all the above tasks.- Maintains accurate tracking of open and closed requests to ensure smooth workflow and accurate reporting.- Perform other duties as assigned.
