Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders
Your Role and Responsibilities
Design and build cross platform Mobile Applications - Articulate technology architecture, data architecture, integration with external solutions, presentation layer and workflows.
Lead mobile projects through the complete development lifecycle
Participating in technical pre-sales engagements with clients to ascertain business requirements and recommend best practice solutions and technology architecture based on client needs
Work Closely with Client’s business & IT stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Team Lead or Development team to drive solution in accordance to the system design and acceptance criteria.
Drive workshops, to gather front-end related requirements and support the creation of a development backlog.
Proactively identify and propose innovative solutions to challenging problems in order to create scalable implementations and achieve results
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Ability to provide program cost estimation and monitor/revalidate the estimates at key transition points in the development lifecycle.
Accountable for ensuring that projects are adhering to delivery best practices and principles, manage technical scope and drive effective change control.
Engages in practice development initiatives and frequently runs knowledge storms Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise through the development of training course and mentoring.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of hand-on experience on native mobile development
Played 5+ years as hands-on architect on mobile projects
Good understanding and working experience on Flutter and Dart, at least 6 months to 1 year
At least 3-4 project experience on large cross platform implementations (Flutter/React Native)
Good understanding of iOS and Android ecosystem and integrations with backend and 3rd party systems
Clearly understands functional and non functional requirements and maps to architect decisions
Steered POCs/POVs with clear instructions to teams and driving outcomes
Able to troubleshoot tech challenges and show way forward in technical crisis Demonstrated technical stewardship with client conversations.
