**Role: Livelihood Officer - Profiling & Support (MIS Officer)**
**Rajasthan Location**: Panipat (Haryana)
**About Magic Bus**
Founded in 1999, Magic Bus works with children and young people living in poverty, in India, taking them from a childhood full of challenges to a life with meaningful livelihoods. We equip children and young people in the age group of 12 to 18, with the skills and knowledge they need to grow up and move out of poverty. Children on the Magic Bus program successfully fend off destabilizers such as child marriage and child labor to complete school and become first generation salary earners having secure careers in the organized sector.
Our youth-centered Livelihoods Program connects the aspirations and potential of young people to available market opportunities. We build their employability skills and map job potential based on individual strengths and mobility. We work with support structures like parents, teachers, the community at large and local government institutions to ensure social, emotional and economic well-being for all young people living in that area. Our approach mobilizes the entire ecosystem available to the child or young person to create transformational change in their lives.
**Role**:
- Work in close coordination with the Community engagement Officer and the Placement Officer w.r.t. registration and on-boarding of youth & out of work adults
- Manage the day to day update in the technology platform for youth & out of work adults entries (around 1500 entries throughout the project period)
- Be the front facing individual at the Office for addressing queries of the youth & out of work adults whose profile is being maintained by them
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Registering of youth and out of work adults in the tech platform
- Counseling of youth and out of work adults
- Entering and maintaining day to day updates in the technology platform
- Support the Programme Manager in handling day to day logistics related work
- Support the Programme Manager in maintenance of records and documents pertaining to all administrative work
- Notifying to the Programme Manager all the gaps and issues with respect to the technology platform
**Reporting to**:Program Manager
**Staff Reporting**: None
**Desired Competencies**:
- Knowledge of MIS and basic computer Skills.
- Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Ability to multi task and manage people and time.
- Ability to handle front desk and people.
- Eye for Details and decipher information from data.
- Excellent team worker.
- Can-do attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground level problems.
- Well organised working style with good time management skills.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends occasionally as required by programme.
**Qualification and Experience** (essential unless otherwise stated):
- Minimum 12thpass. Graduate (desireable)
- Experience of data entry and office maintenance (desirable).
- Experience of administrative and logistic work (desirable).
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
