As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our passengers on board the train. You will collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals that exceed our guests' expectations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, mobile environment while enjoying the stunning landscapes and adventures of train travel.

**Responsibilities**:
Assisting the Head Chef in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and presented attractively.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the train's kitchen area, following health and safety regulations at all times.

Contributing to menu planning, taking into consideration dietary requirements, preferences, and seasonal availability.

Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during meal service.

Assisting in the inventory management of kitchen supplies, including ordering, receiving, and storing food items appropriately.

Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following proper guidelines and procedures.

Ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal of leftover food items to minimize wastage.

Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, as well as guidelines set by the company and relevant authorities.

Assisting in the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Providing exceptional customer service, addressing passenger inquiries, and accommodating special dietary requests professionally.

Assisting in meal service during peak times or when required, ensuring timely delivery of meals to passengers.

Embracing the unique challenges of working in a mobile kitchen environment and being adaptable to changing schedules and situations.

Upholding the company's commitment to sustainability and responsible practices in food preparation and service.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Cook or Assistant Cook in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting is preferred.

A passion for cooking and a keen interest in creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and confined environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and the kitchen team effectively.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as train journeys may involve extended periods away from home base.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Demonstrated teamwork and a positive attitude in a dynamic and diverse work environment.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

**Salary**: ₹23,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
