∙Firsthand development of data-driven and expert judgement-based

models for Retail and Wholesale portfolio covering a few areas such as:
»Credit Risk Models - PD, LGD, EAD, etc.

»Scorecards - Application, Behavioral, Risk, Fraud, etc.

»Collection Models

»Prepayment Models

»Pricing Models

»Cross-sell/ Upsell Models

»Timeseries and forecasting

»Others

**2 **Model Validation
- Clear understanding and experience in using statistical and qualitative

methods to validate the various models in the risk domain.

»Knowledge of BIS working paper 14

»Familiar with using different coherent data-based tests like

accuracy, stability, etc.

»Familiar with dimensions covered in non-data-based model

validation

»Experience in writing model validation reports with

recommendations

**3 **Model Governance

Framework
- Experience in model governance framework for a bank or financial

institutions covering the following dimensions

»Model Governance framework, Policy, and Procedures

»Model Inventory

»Model Lifecycle

»Model Control Framework

**4 **Stress Testing
- Solid understanding of Base and CBUAE/SAMA/QCB/CBK/CBB supervisory

requirements, including calculation of EAD/RWA/EL
- Regulatory and internal stress testing (Pillar1, Pillar2, ICAAP) to assess the

financial institution’s resilience against capital adequacy and earning

volatility
- Extract various risk details from the conducted stress testing (stress RWA,

stressed leverage exposure) to derive tangible implications for the

financial institution.
- A thorough understanding of Pillar1 RWA components and how it

corresponds to stress scenario projections to derive pillar 2 stressed

profiles

**5 **Portfolio Analytics

and Reporting
- Portfolio Analytics activity, including portfolio slicing and dicing, root
- cause analysis, deep-dive, segment performance reviews and thematic

reviews
- Deriving risk appetite limits and thresholds using portfolio-level data
- Automation of manual excel reports using VBAs or other statistical tools
- Develop cutting-edge AI/ML models to support the business decisions of

the clients

**WORK EXPERIENCE**

specializing in FS Advisory or working in credit risk/ ERM departments in Banks.

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelors/master’s in quantitative disciplines (Math/Statistics, Science, Engineering) OR
- MBA (Finance) from a leading business school OR
- Professional qualification (Chartered Accountancy)
- Expert in MS-Excel, PowerPoint, and MS-Word
- Fluent in using one or many data and modelling software such as R, SAS, Python, etc.

- personnel, analytical and management skills.
- High energy individual possessing excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation

skills. Adept at preparing and presenting to senior audiences.
- Meticulous, initiative-taker and must work well in a team-oriented environment. Good oral and written

communication skills. Manage and mentor junior resources.
- Must have ability to multi-task.
- Regular reading habit for updating himself/herself and exhibit high level of confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to meet client needs. Travel frequently required based on client

requests/commitments. Second language skills and international business experience will be useful

**Salary**: ₹12,366.77 - ₹117,676.68 per month
