**Reports To: Assistant Head of Operations**

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Facility Manager cum System Administrator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the robust functioning of the school's physical and IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Assistant Head of Operations, this role involves supervising and guiding the Logistics cum Infra Officer and is responsible for optimizing overall infrastructure efficiency, emphasizing the smooth functioning of the school, and adhering to all compliances.

**I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Physical Infrastructure Oversight**:

- Oversee the school's physical infrastructure by ensuring the smooth operation of digital assets, networking systems, audio/video equipment, surveillance cameras, solar lights, and electronic devices.
- Additionally, ensure efficient management of essential services such as lifts, generators, RO plants, and pumps by conducting preventive maintenance audits with the Logistics and Infra Officer.
- Ensure meticulous record-keeping, maintaining accurate inventories, licences and warranties, thus optimizing infrastructure efficiency, ensuring compliance, and extending the lifespan of assets through preventive maintenance practices.
- **IT Infrastructure Management**:

- Administer and maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, servers, and digital devices.
- Oversee the integration of audio/video systems with other digital platforms and devices.
- Implement and manage security protocols to ensure data integrity and privacy.
- **Database Management**:

- Maintain student and staff databases in EMIS. Maintain the school’s UDISE portal, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on the EMIS and UDISE portal.
- Maintain NSP portal and handle the compliance as nodal officer for NSP.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and compliance requirements related to database management.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors aligned with organizational needs.
- Act as the primary contact for vendors, addressing concerns promptly and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure performance meets standards.
- Work with vendors on cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, while maintaining accurate contract records and collaborating on negotiations with legal and procurement teams.
- **Monthly Report**:

- Submit a comprehensive monthly report by the 5th of each month to the Assistant Head of Operations.

**II. QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in both IT system administration and facility management roles.
- Knowledge of database management systems and compliance standards.
